As part of my Master's thesis on tail docking in lambs, I would like to find out what practices are currently used, what the challenges are and what alternatives to tail docking are available in practice.
Particular focus is placed on the structure, husbandry and management of the farms, as well as the reasons for tail docking and its impact on the farms' profitability. Your experiences and opinions will be invaluable in providing a realistic picture of the situation in the field and in identifying possible alternatives and approaches for improvement, as well as advancing research and breeding. By taking part in the survey, you will help to ensure that sheep farming in Europe can continue to improve.
The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. All information will of course be treated confidentially and will only be analysed anonymously.
